19&20 April - 3de Internationale Conferentie GMO Vrije Regio's

Vervolg uitnodiging in Engels
The conference is an excellent opportunity for representatives of the regions, non-governmental organisations, national and European institutions to meet and discuss the latest information on GMOs in agriculture. Participants will be provided with an update on the state of economic, political, and scientific developments and with a road map of upcoming events and decisions. During the first day there will be simultaneous translation in major European languages. The second day will be conducted in English.
Registration is open at the Conference website,
either online or by downloading a form for fax or email. Please note that pre-registration is imperative to secure access to the European Parliament, where the conference will take place. We also recommend early booking of travel and hotels (special rates available on the web-site until March 30).
At the conference web-site you will also find further background information and details, an overview on GMO-free regions all around Europe, proceedings of the previous conferences, a list of upcoming and past events and a special news service. Preparatory documents will be uploaded over the next weeks and your input is most welcome.
We would be most grateful for your input to this unique collection of information about the GMO-free regional movement. We would be especially grateful, if you could inform us about new GMO-Free Regions, which we could add to the list and map, we are prsently preparing for the conference. This list can be found on www.gmo-free-regions.org .
Also, if you have any other additional information missing on the section "GMO-Free regions by country", please let us know and send us relevant documents and links.
